Our Avid Unity LANshares can provide both Fibre Channel and Ethernet interconnections in an all-in-one server and storage chassis to provide the perfect mix of simple, low cost connections for systems using offline resolutions and powerful, high bandwidth connections for systems using finishing resolutions. This combination translates into a highly effective, low cost workgroup that dramatically streamlines the workflow of virtually any facility.

With a compact rack unit design, MEDIArray XT storage systems deliver either 4 or 8 Terabytes (TB) of storage per 16-drive chassis. The MEDIArray line has a built-in layer of software intelligence that manages storage more efficiently, helps identify developing problems both within the storage subsystem and the clients, and isolates the drives so that the rest of the network is virtually unaffected if a drive does have a failure. With MEDIArray XT, up to 40 TB of storage is supported on an Avid Unity MediaNetwork v5.0 and later system.

The Avid AirSpeed multi-purpose media platform is a cost-effective replacement for VTRs or server technology that no longer fits your budget or your plans. AirSpeed servers accelerate your workflow with dedicated video ingest, storage, and playout directly to and from Avid Unity shared storage, and are now available to standalone Avid editing systems for capture and playout over a standard network without shared storage.
